"Instantaneously, overnight, we have 30 million people playing NBA 2K around the world, probably more, so we begin a league and we have competition on a global basis. Peter: Then I think youre, listen, viewer consumption, what youre talking about is whether you put on an Oculus or whether youve got five screens going up, people are now watching short form video in five to 20 second increments to absorb a game. So, that part of it was awesome. John: By the way, weve got with us today, Peter Feigin, hes the president of the Milwaukee Bucks. Michael Red: The podcast, as you know, is all about betting on yourself and talk about what that means to you, Peter, like betting on yourself. What did your dad do for a living? This is COVID, how do we do it? And like, "Hey, you got to hear my idea," or something. He wanted to keep the team, which was a big catalyst for the whole movement.". Peter Feigin: And I think I kind of have this delusion that there's nothing that I can be a part of, that we can't accomplish. Thats what we call our volunteering. John: Thats so great. And how do we capture that, both digitally and on broadcast? Peter, before I let you go, I have to ask you. She is like, "We're in this together." I also listen, I thought, and my parents thought both my brother and I were as you can imagine before ADD was actually diagnosed, Peter: for kids our age and stuff, because its still be on impulsive, relentless, like, [inaudible]. She's terrific and just the whole organization and I'm honored to be a part of the family, man. Thats just my view, Lasry said. John: You talked about your Masters of the Universe being your partners and owners and really some of the brightest people on this planet which of course, thats true. Theyre the worst. Well, that's you. And Giannis knows whether we're talking about a big deal, whether we're talking about marketing, he knows those socks like he's good with, he owns me for a month now, he owns me. I always joke that we could run a country, dAmboise said. So that that's been kind of part of my learning is like, "How do we create a system that we're in a much better place six months from now and a much better place 12 months and a much better place three years from now that we've shown change in metrics and results and everything like that. We got to like we want to use our platform to affect change and change the world. Peters son, Thomas, and Dans son, Jackson, are both high school juniors and excellent players. His friends, while the games are suspended, are trying to stay as prepared as possible. Not everyone is. This is a small town, even though it's a big city. Youre physically building an arena, a district, a template for success. Feigin was a four-year member of the men's soccer team as a midfielder during his undergraduate career at Franklin & Marshall. And I knew who Arthur Ashe was, but I wasn't a big tennis guy and my job was basically being Arthur Ashe's right hand person through. Peter: administration, in aviation, in a $3 billion international aviation company, which was just amazing. Im not a big fan of, hey, we need to make money or consult off that. Peter Feigin: Yeah, I think it's part of the culture and kind of down from ownership, like you're going to stand for something or you're going to stand for nothing.
